•	Highlights from Surat al Falaq and Sura an Nas (please download the full session from the mp3 file above)

•	Prophet (s) use to practice ruqyah (practice of blowing into hands after reciting dua) and there are many instances for the same.

•	A believer is not permitted to have jealosy in his heart. There are two kinds of jealous. One is to wish that your brother loose a blessing of his and regardless of you gaining it or not. The other is to wish for gaining a similar blessing of his without wanting him to loose it, the second is harmless and a bleeiver could have it.
•	The first crime to be committed in the history of man kind was because of ‘hasad’ or jealosy. One was in heavens and other on earth. In the heavens Iblis disobeyed to prostrate because of his jealosy of the blessing given to Adam (a.s) and other was the murder of Habeel by Qabeel on earth.
•	Jealousy is an act of displeasure shown in the division of Allah’s (swt) blessing on His creation.
•	Ulema say that whoever recite Muawizzatein (Sura an nas and falaq) repeatedly they create a shield around them against all evils.

If you check the Quranic revelation it is different from the sequence of Suras in Quran.
The amazing relation between the first sura (al fatiha) and the last Sura An Nas.

Jaihoon.TV Chairman conversing with the students of Darun Najat Islamic Complex

Following sunnah to the minutest detail is the essence of Tasawwuf. If we imitate Prophet, the world will come running behind us.

If we perceive worldly things to be big it will only keep growing in importance.

We will never be able to describe fully the beauty of Prophet’s life.

Poetry is emotion. Since emotion is unique each poet differs from each other. And I personally feel the same is the reason for the founding of the four major Tariqa.

The fortune to love the holy Prophet is granted by Allah.

When Pharoah and the son of Nuh (a.s) died Allah (swt) said that the skies and earth did not cry for them, which indicates they do cry for the believers.

Prophet (s) said that Woe to be those who include lie to their talks in order to mock.

Each time you do a sin, whether it be listening to a Gheebah or nameema or music it will create a black spot in the heart.
Scholars say that if a person has very much interest in music it’s a sign of his diseased heart. He wouldn’t incline to Truth.
If you don’t repent for the sins, the black spots gets accumulated in the heart and the whole heart is blackened.

There will come a time when you will have to look out for a trustworthy person and you will have to be told that in such and such place there is such and such person who is trustworthy.
Trustworthiness would become so rare; Almighty will lift it from the hearts of people because of their sins.

The reason why we don’t wish for Hereafter is that we are not prepared for it and we wish for this world.

Imam Abdul Basit gives a speech on why we should rely solely on Allah(swt). Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].” [Quran 3: 159]

Its a nature in human beings that when we rely on someone very efficient or talented we are satisfied and confident same is the case with the beleiver. Because he is relying on Someone Who is All-Powerfull and Almighty a beleiver is always satisfied and hopeful. This reliance is called ‘Tawakkul. ‘Tawakkul is a form of worship. It is a worship performed by heart. If you rely on something else we are making a hidden shirk! (riyaa)

The person who relies on Allah should be very confident because of the capability of the One on whom he has placed his trust. As Allah (swt) says :” Whoever relies on Allah (has Tawakkul), He is sufficient for him.” [65:3]

Rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].” [Quran 3: 159]

The best examples for any quality of bleievers it can be found in the Prophets. Many instances from the seerah of Prophet (s) shows us great deal of tawakkul on Allah (swt).

Tawakkul can be defined linguistically as ‘depending on something’. However, techincally it means ‘to be dependent completely on Allah (swt) to acheive any good or perevent any harm’.

God-consciousness is an essential factor for any believer devoid of which faith is incomplete. It is the purpose of all our acts of worship. Sheikh Abdul Basith elaborates the concept of fearing God and the necessity of the same in Islam.

The purpose of ‘purpose of creation’ is to develop God-consciousness or taqwa in our hearts. A true believer is suppose to have both fear and hope of Allah (swt). These are the two wings with which he flies.
