മഹല്ലുകളെ കേരളത്തില്‍, പ്രതെകിചു മലബാറില്‍ എത്ര മാത്രം രാഷ്ട്രീയ നെട്ടങ്ങല്‍കുവേണ്ടി രണ്ടു സുന്നി വിഭാകവും മറ്റുള്ളവരും ഉപയോഗപെടുത്തി എന്ന് ഇവിടെ ചിണ്ടിക്കേണ്ടത് ആവശ്യമാണ്. പ്രാദേശിക പ്രമാണിമാരും മറ്റു ഫിയുദല്‍ പ്രഭുകാന്‍ മാരും നിയന്ദ്രികുന്ന കണക്കറ്റ് സാബത്തിക വരുമാനമുള്ള കേരള മഹല്ലുകള്‍ എത്രത്തോളം എല്ലാ മുസ്ലിം വിഭാങ്ങളുടെയും കക്ഷി രാഷ്ട്രീയമായ നെട്ടങ്ങല്‍കുവേണ്ടി ഉപയോഗിക്കപെട്ടു എന്നും സുക്ഷ്മാമായ പരിശോധനക്ക് വിടെയമാക്കെണ്ടാതാണ്.
