Excerpt from the speech

According to our Beloved Prophet (s) a wise person is he who prepares himself for his death and take account himself before his death.

Anyone who knows that he will migrate from a land to another, will have the three basic requirements 1. Legal access 2. Comfort in that land
3. Elimination of destructive things
Legal access to Paradise is the ‘shahada’. The elements of comfort you have is the amount of righteousness deeds that you posses and the elimination of destructive things is the slaughtering of death in the next world which is a sign of relief for the righteous people.

The angels deal in a very harsh manner with those who led a bad life at the last moments of his life.

Say: “The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!”

Steps to be undertaken

A man who is willing to prepare for his death should firstly repent. Then he must ensure that there is no right of any person binding on him.

There are many factors that are helpful to be mindful of this ultimate reality. An firm belief or’aqeedah’ that functions and is translated into actions is an important element 1. Visiting the graves 2. Visiting the sick 3. And also the development procedure (the phases of life) that we see around us is also a good reminder. 4.Recalling the people who were with us and is no more.

‘In this world we are fasting, we break our fast in the Hereafter with joy’
