Umar Qazi – The humorous poet philosopher

When Umar Qazi once saw an old man struggling with a hard betel nut he gives a short piece of advice in a poetic form, ‘why are you struggling with this hard betel nut at this old age having lost most of your teeth. Its better that you should eat smooth betel nut’

Once he saw a train, he composed as follows:

‘Dear friend, I saw yesterday a vehicle moving on the land without legs over the rail by making sounds ‘ko ko ko chi chi’. It was also very helpful for transportation of people as well as goods.’
